Tel Aviv is widely considered Israel's most progressive city, with its Pride Month known the world over for its flamboyant, non-stop celebrations. But it is not only during pride month that Tel Aviv dresses up. Hilton Beach is just one of the stops that shows its pride year round.

"This image is one of my favorites, mostly because it was a spontaneous shot, early on in the morning, when the city was still waking up. The chairs were arranged perfectly, the sunlight was not too harsh, and still there was some activity along the shore. Just fifteen minutes later, the beach started filling up with its daily visitors, and this relatively tranquil composition was no more... until the next morning of course."
