Tragic yet beautiful, and certainly not barren, the Dead Sea is still a dying wonder. It's landscape lies at the mercy of human intervention in its ecosystem, and the presevation efforts that aim to sustain it. 


"Viewed from above, the northern shores of the Dead Sea should be on another planet. As we drove north, we stopped at the side of the road and noticed this rock pool. Like the eye of a dragon, it seemed to stare back to us, asking to capture it."
