Early sunlight filters through, casting a warm and ethereal glow over the landscape. In the distance, the silhouettes of distant mountains pierce through the mist, rising up out of the fog like ancient sentinels. The air is still and quiet, as if the fog has created a pocket of serenity in the otherwise harsh desert environment.  Within the hour the fog is gone, the sun as risen and the Negev has started another day.

"The Negev is one of my favorite places in the world, and I believe it is underrated, only because we don't know how to experience it.

 The night before this image was taken, most of the weather parameters for a foggy morning were in place, but I knew from previous experiences that nothing was gauranteed. 

Luck was on my side. Early the next morning I was greeted by a magestic white blanket that rolled across the landscape, before being burnt off by the rising sun."
